Currently, an estimated 300 million people worldwide who suffer from obesity. This amount is equivalent to the starving population. In the United States, according to 2003 data, children who are obese has reached 15 percent of the population. Meanwhile, in the country, according to Riskesdas 2010 there were 14 percent of children aged 0-5 years who are overweight.

He also recommends that parents of children who are overweight or suffer from diabetes should check blood sugar. "Children aged 10 years are advised to conduct check-ups. But if you have risk factors, should not delay the inspection until two teenagers," he said.
